Nick Cave & the Dangerous Seeds: Wild God [PIAS]
Nick Cave is blunt in his evaluation of his new Bad Seeds album, Wild God. “There’s no fucking round with this file,” he’s mentioned. “When it hits, it hits. It lifts you. It strikes you. I really like that about it.” He’s additionally happy with the singles. “The sheer exuberance of a tune like ‘Frogs,’” he exclaimed. “It simply places an enormous fucking smile on my face.” Put aside 4 and a half minutes for “Frogs,” and 40 extra for the complete album, to see for those who, too, are grinning just like the ebullient man you see pictured above.
