Cave In vocalists and guitarists Adam McGrath and Stephen Brodsky each have some wonderful new materials so that you can take a look at at present, all of which we’re thrilled to premiere.
First up is Adam McGrath, who’s now streaming the easy (largely) acoustic rock monitor “Betray The Dream” from his debut solo album Methuen’s Lot, due out October 4. Good luck getting this one in all your head… or at the very least resisting the temptation to hit the repeat button shortly after the music wraps up.
Methuen’s Lot was produced and engineered by Stephen Brodsky, blended by Adam Taylor, and mastered by James Plotkin. Pre-orders are available here.
Then there’s Stephen Brodsky, who’s reissuing his 1999 solo album Expose Your Overdubs with a complete boatload of bonus tracks. Brodsky is now streaming “Burning Down the Billboards” recorded stay at WMBR in 1999 under in all its stripped-down glory. And sure, this is identical “Burning Down The Billboards” Cave In launched on their 1999 EP Inventive Eclipses.
The deluxe model of Expose Your Overdubs compiles all 17 tracks from the unique CD and LP (together with the exclusives to each codecs), eight extra stay tracks from the archive (culled from era-specific radio exhibits on WERS and WMBR) have been added.
Expose Your Overdubs (25th Anniversary Deluxe Version) is out September 27. Pre-orders are available here.
