So, it’s crucial that one thing looks like, ‘Oh, that is furthering the story!’”
Docter continued, “I used to be speaking about one thing that we didn’t discover within the first one. Or, one thing deeper that we didn’t discover concerning the human situation or our personal experiences in life.”

“No, and this would possibly chunk me within the butt for saying it, however it type of bothers me,” he informed Time. “I like making motion pictures which are authentic and distinctive to themselves. To remake it, it’s not very fascinating to me personally.”
Docter stated that making a live-action movie a couple of rat “can be powerful” and added, “A lot of what we create solely works due to the principles of the [animated] world.”
“So you probably have a human stroll right into a home that floats, your thoughts goes, ‘Wait a second. Maintain on. Homes are tremendous heavy. How are balloons lifting the home?’” he continued. “However you probably have a cartoon man and he stands there in the home, you go, ‘Okay, I’ll purchase it.’ The worlds that we’ve constructed simply don’t translate very simply.”
