The Reuters company staff overlaying the warfare in Ukraine has suffered a strike on their resort within the japanese metropolis of Kramatorsk.
The news agency has released a statement saying one of many staff is lacking and two others in hospital following the “obvious missile strike” on the Resort Sapphire 10.35pm native time Saturday night.
“One among our colleagues is unaccounted for, whereas one other two have been taken to hospital for remedy,” the company stated.
“Three different colleagues have been accounted for. We’re urgently in search of extra data, working with the authorities in Kramatorsk, and supporting our colleagues and their households. We are going to give an replace when now we have extra data.”
Reuters web site quotes Vadym Filashkin, governor of Donetsk area, in a submit on Telegram Sunday morning that “the Russians hit Kramatorsk,” and that two journalists have been injured, whereas one was lacking after a strike on a resort.
“Authorities, police and rescuers are engaged on the spot. Particles clearance and rescue operations are ongoing,” he stated.
Reuters say the Russian Defence Ministry didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
