Mereba is coming again together with her second solo studio album. The brand new album, The Breeze Grew a Fire, arrives on February 14 through her new label dwelling, Secretly Canadian. Main the LP is “Counterfeit,” and you may watch its music video beneath.
Mereba launched her first album, The Jungle Is the Only Way Out, in 2019 through Interscope. She launched one other Interscope mission, the Azeb EP, in 2021.
Mereba labored on The Breeze Grew a Fireplace with producer Sam Hoffman. She stated in press assertion, “For this [album], it went again to me being alone for the creation of plenty of the songs, and it was actually essential for me right now of life as a result of I used to be a bit disconnected from the world, and from who I used to be. So I used to be looking for my means again to myself first. What do I like? What do I need to hear? What do I need to say to folks now?”
