Kiefer Sutherland (Designated Survivor) and Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids) have boarded the Sky and Future Artists Leisure flick Tinsel City. The movie is now in manufacturing on location throughout the North of England and at Leeds’ Versa Studios.
Mister Smith Leisure will launch worldwide gross sales on the upcoming European Movie Market.
Movies follows Bradley Mack (Sutherland), a Hollywood motion star with a bloated ego, who’s blindsided when his iconic motion franchise is abruptly canceled. Together with his profession in freefall and nervous his Hollywood days are behind him, he heads to England, hoping to rebuild his picture as a severe actor on the West Finish. However his long-suffering agent has different plans, sending Bradley as an alternative to a small, snow-dusted village to star within the city’s eccentric manufacturing of Cinderella. As he fumbles via rehearsals with a colourful forged of oddball locals, Bradley begins to find a spark of latest beginnings within the type of no-nonsense choreographer Jill (Wilson).
The script has been penned by Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown, and Piers Ashworth with further materials by Jake Brunger, and shall be directed by Chris Foggin (Financial institution of Dave). Matt Williams and Pascal Degove at FAE will produce. Government Producers are Julia Stuart, Laura Grange, Piers Tempest, and Martin Owen.
