Tune-Yards, the art-rock group led by singer-guitarist Merrill Garbus, are reissuing their album Nikki Nack to have a good time its tenth anniversary. The deluxe edition consists of 4 new tracks and can hit streaming companies on August 9. A type of songs is a deconstructed remix of “Water Fountain” by Water From Your Eyes, which they’ve retitled “Water From Your Fountain.” Hearken to it beneath.
Along with the digital reissue, Tune-Yards have introduced Behind the Behind of the Album, a 28-page zine concerning the creation of Nikki Nack. Designed by Molly Styslinger and Garbus, it consists of behind-the-scenes photographs, scans of Garbus’ lyric journals, handwritten anecdotes, and extra.
