Andres Veiel’s documentary Riefenstahl – unpicking the deceits of German filmmaker and Nazi propagandist Leni Riefenstahl – has scored a slew of offers following its world premiere at Venice and North American launch at Telluride.
Beta Cinema has introduced offers to France (ARP), Spain (Filmin), Portugal (Midas Filmes), Scandinavia (Edge Leisure), Benelux (Think about), Poland (Towards Gravity), Hungary (Cirko Movie), former Yugoslavia (MCF) and Japan (Longride Leisure).
Extra territories are at present in negotiation.
The movie is produced by German political journalist Sandra Maischberger. It’s the first documentary with full entry to Leni Riefenstahl’s property.
