McCaffery will substitute former NBA star Greg Oden — who had been a Butler assistant for two seasons.
“Following a high-level collaborating in career, Connor has had the prospect to every contribute and be taught alongside in all probability the best staffs throughout the NBA,” Butler head coach Thad Matta said.
“These experiences will doubtless be very priceless to our employees. He clearly comes from a basketball family that I do know very successfully and I’m excited for the impression he’s going to have on our program every quickly and in the long run.”
