Roadrunner Data is now streaming “The Final Ballad Of Damrod”, the primary unique music from the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Energy. The only was composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary, and options vocals from Jens Kidman of Meshuggah fame.
Says McCreary: “After I first glimpsed Damrod, the murderous troll in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Energy Season Two, I knew instantly I needed to name Jens Kidman,” stated McCreary. “The aggressive frontman of Meshuggah, Jens put a searing model on ‘The Final Ballad of Damrod’ along with his blistering vocal efficiency.
“I’m exhilarated to workforce up with Roadrunner Data, residence to a few of my favourite bands of all time like Gojira and Slipknot, to deliver our music to the world. My collaboration with Jens, alongside virtuoso drummer Gene Hoglan, on ‘The Final Ballad of Damrod,’ provides an introduction to my exploration of the darker recesses of J.R.R. Tolkien‘s legendarium and units the stage for the remainder of the sweeping rating to return.”
