Clelia Mountford is exiting Dangerous Sisters maker Merman to launch an All3 Media-backed scripted indie.
Sunburnt Penguin will sit inside All3’s scripted ranks, specializing in drama and comedy tasks. It debuts with a improvement slate in place.
Mountford co-founded Merman with Sharon Horgan in 2014 and collectively they constructed a TV and movie manufacturing enterprise within the UK and U.S. with credit for the likes of Apple TV+’s comedy Dangerous Sisters, which is about to debut a second season on November 13; BBC comedies Motherland and There She Goes, Channel 4 and Prime Video’s Disaster; Channel 4/Hulu co-pro This Means Up; and Sky drama Dreamland.
