Dååth launched their first new file in 14 years in 2024 alongside a re-recording of their 2007 observe “Subterfuge” after which a bunch of covers – Slipknot‘s “Get This (or Die)”, Morbid Angel‘s “The place the Slime Reside”, and Death‘s “The Thinker”. You’d suppose in any case that, Dååth would simply do some touring and quietly work on new music… however nope!
In line with Dååth of their year-end put up, they’ve already received new music lined up for 2025. “I really feel good calling this 12 months successful!” wrote the band. “2025 is already wanting eventful. Our first tour in 15 years goes down in March (Europe with Rivers Of Nihil, Cynic, and Past Creation), and we have already received some new singles within the bag. If all goes in line with plan perhaps we’ll even end our subsequent file. Loopy proper? I have been writing riffs all 12 months and I am beginning to get refined hints of which path we’re taking it.”
The aforementioned tour with Rivers Of Nihil, Cynic, Past Creation, and Dååth kicks off on February 28 on the Essigfabrik venue in Köln, Germany. Tickets are available here.
