Deafheaven is now streaming “Heathen” from their upcoming report Lonely Folks With Energy. The only mixes that overtly shoegaze sound discovered on their final report Infinite Granite with the heaviness of their older materials, making for one hell of a monitor. “Heathen” comes alongside a music video directed by Muted Widows.
Deafheaven will launch their debut on Roadrunner Information named Lonely Folks With Energy on March 28. Lonely Folks With Energy was recorded with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen and was blended by Zach Weeks of GodCity Studio. Lonely Folks With Energy consists of further vocal contributions from Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher and Paul Banks of Interpol.
Deafheaven not too long ago introduced a North American tour with Gatecreeper and Trauma Ray because the openers. The tour kicks off on April 19 at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA and wraps up over one month afterward Could 23 at The Nile in Mesa, AZ. Tickets are available here.
