August 08 died final 12 months on the age of 31. Fake It’s Okay is the primary posthumous launch from the musician, and it follows 2022’s Seasick.
Following August 08’s loss of life, Def Jam Recordings shared in an announcement, “The complete Def Jam household mourns the tragic lack of Ray ‘August 08’ Jacobs. An excellent songwriter, an achieved musician and a singular artist, August will stay in our reminiscence as a beloved colleague and good friend. We prolong our deepest sympathies to his household and family members.”
