Earlier this week, Canadian solo artist and former Strapping Young Lad member Devin Townsend introduced he was placing on an orchestral efficiency of his rock opera The Moth within the Netherlands with the help of North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra. The efficiency, to be held on March 27 at De Oosterpoort in Groningen, NET, bought out fairly shortly, and a second efficiency on March 28 on the identical venue has been scheduled.
“For his newest challenge, [Devin Townsend] has teamed up with the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra and composed The Moth,” explains a press launch concerning the efficiency that was reported on by The PRP, “a ‘rock opera’ he has been engaged on for years, which represents his lifelong ambition.
