Dil Chahta Hai is among the iconic movies of Bollywood with an evergreen story about friendship and love. Within the movie, Akshaye Khanna’s character falls in love with an older lady, performed by Dimple Kapadia. Now, the actress revealed in a latest interview that it was Akshaye who satisfied her to do the movie.
She stated, “Akshaye Khanna known as me up. He was such a sweetheart. He stated, ‘Please, please, do it for me.’ And yeah, I stated, in fact. And thank God I did it as a result of working with Zoya and dealing with that workforce was fully…I believe by this time, it was a special type of technology I used to be working with. So, it was very, very rewarding and it helped me quite a bit there.”
The movie stars Aamir Kham, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia amongst others. Speaking of Dimple, the actress was final seen within the movies Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Homicide Mubarak.
