“Many of the performing arts copyright registrations have been registered as Stephen Felton being the copyright claimant,” reads a portion of the lawsuit. “And, though on many songs [Hatrix] was given correct credit score for his participation in creating mentioned works, there appears to be no document of mechanical royalty funds stemming from these performing arts registrations.”

The lawsuit additionally claims that Felton was paying himself twice, including: “Felton‘s actions … turned extra nefarious, together with the doctoring of publishing splits giving Skinny (Felton) double pay beneath 2 names ‘Tenafly Viper‘ and simply plain ‘Steve Felton‘, together with 30% going to him beneath ‘unknown publicist’ and ‘unknown author’. The truth is, a lot of the publishing splits appear to have disappeared as plaintiff has not obtained any mechanical royalties to talk of for a number of years no less than.

“Though the cash coming elevated, plaintiff was apparently receiving pennies on the greenback. [Hatrix] was paid an ‘allowance’ $1,200 per week per, per tour. The truth is, plaintiff was paid nearly nothing past this and is due his publishing and different, royalties, earnings from touring, gross sales and royalties from movie media, together with loss from different sources of earnings to be decided.”

Hatrix‘s lawyer Ronald Stanley mentioned to Cleveland.com that Hatrix is looking for no less than $3.5 million in damages, later including that “We do not know all what he’s entitled to but.”
