Avery Tucker, previously half of Girlpool, has shared a brand new tune. “Big Drops” is Tucker’s debut solo single, and he co-wrote and co-produced it with frequent A. G. Prepare dinner collaborator Alaska Reid. In a press assertion, he described the tune as “a narrative about loving and shedding somebody who’s discovering themselves time and time once more overtaken by the massive drop.” Watch the accompanying music video, directed by Lilliya Scarlett Reid, beneath.
Girlpool, the Los Angeles–based mostly duo of Tucker and Harmony Tividad, broke up in 2022, a number of months after the discharge of their last album, Forgiveness. Final 12 months, Tividad shared the album Gossip, her first correct studio album.
