Hot Chip and Sleaford Mods are Sizzling Mods. The British bands joined forces for a pair of recent songs, “Nom Nom Nom” and “Cat Burglar,” recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios and launched at present to learn War Child. Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson stated in a press launch, “On the day we went in chilly and simply handed ourselves over to it. ‘Nom Nom Nom’ is a lyrical continuation from our album UK Grim over Andrew’s keyboard riff, constructed on by Sizzling Chip and ending up with a superb refrain from Alexis [Taylor]. ‘Cat Burglar’ is a bizarre prog-rock-meets-B-52s jam that explores the slim corridors of recent human expertise.” Warfare Baby, he added, is “doing necessary work in a time the place the world is in chaos and though we will’t repair the chaos, we will do a bit to assist.”
