James Gunn revealed why Creature Commandos opted for a weekly episode launch on Max, not a binge launch like Netflix.
On the heels of the second season renewal of the DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation title, Gunn replied to a fan who requested why the primary season was not launched in its entirety on the streamer.
“It affords a high quality present a chance to be mentioned and develop from week to week,” Gunn shared on X, the microblogging platform previously referred to as Twitter. “[Creature Commandos] has gotten extra common from episode to episode due to the constructive dialogue round it and has cultivated an enthusiastic viewers.”
He continued, “If we had dropped all of the episodes without delay who is aware of what would have occurred. I’ll possible all the time be within the one-a-week camp for our exhibits. For individuals who wish to binge all of sudden they will wait till the tip of the season.”
Creature Commandos is the primary title of the brand new DC Universe Gunn and DC Studios co-head Peter Safran have created since taking on the studio.
