Writer and journalist Liz Plank is distancing herself from her podcast co-host Justin Baldoni‘s following the serious allegations Baldoni is facing from his It Ends with Us co-star Blake Energetic.
“I’m writing to you immediately to let that I’ve had my representatives inform Wayfarer that I’ll not be co-hosting the Man Sufficient podcast,” Plank wrote in a message to fans. “Thanks for trusting me along with your hearts and tales, for holding area for mine, and for making this present what it was. I’ll miss you, the listeners, a lot. I really like what this group created along with each fiber of my being, and that’s due to you.”
Launched in 2021, Man Sufficient “explores what it means to be a person immediately and the way inflexible gender roles have affected all folks.” Plank co-hosted it with Baldoni and Jamey Heath, CEO of Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios.
Baldoni, Heath and Wayfarer had been all named In Blake’s December 20 grievance with the California Civil Rights Division (read it here), which alleges a poisonous work atmosphere of sexual harassment on the set of It All Ends With Us and accuses Baldoni and his PR staff of a deliberate smear marketing campaign after the film’s launch.
“As this chapter closes for me, I stay dedicated to the values we’ve constructed collectively,” Plank continued. “Thanks for being right here, for trusting me, and for being by my aspect for the final 4 years. All of us deserve higher, and I do know that collectively, we are able to create it.
