Leon Bridges Announces Album, Shares Video for New Song “Peaceful Place”: Watch

Leon Bridges is again quickly with a brand new album. Leon, the follow-up to 2021’s Gold-Diggers Sound, arrives October 4 by way of Columbia. Under, watch the video for lead single “Peaceful Place.”

Bridges recorded Leon with producer Ian Fitchuk at Mexico’s El Desierto studio, and with co-producer Daniel Tashian in Nashville. “Leon has been a long-time coming,” Bridges wrote in an announcement. “I began writing items of it way back to Gold-Diggers Sound. They didn’t match what I used to be making an attempt to do with that album, and I attempted transferring on. However I couldn’t shake them as a result of they’re a part of me. And, if I’m trustworthy, additionally as a result of I feel that is a few of my most wonderful work but.”

The Texas soul singer continued:

In some ways, Leon has been within the works since my childhood. This document is about easier days. It’s about time spent in my beloved Fort Price and the experiences that made me the person I’m as we speak. It’s soulful music within the truest sense—it’s imbued with my soul.

I’m excited to share these tales about my residence, about nostalgia, about my upbringing, about the place I’m from, with all of you. I hope this music brings you again to your roots and your journey.

In recent times, Bridges has made music with fellow Khruangbin. In 2020, they shared the Texas Sun EP, and, two years later, they dropped the Texas Moon EP.
