Filming has commenced for Neagley, the spin-off of the Prime Video sequence Reacher. Maria Sten returns because the titular character, who is likely one of the most constant elements of the unique present apart from Alan Ritchson’s protagonist. The beginning of manufacturing in early 2025 hints at a possible launch date, contemplating the premiere patterns of all three seasons of Reacher.

Sten took to Instagram in late February 2025 to substantiate that filming for Neagley had begun. She shared a photograph of herself with a clapperboard and the screenshot of a Selection article reporting that 5 new actors had joined the forged. Within the caption, Sten wrote, “it’s formally official individuals! Neagley is occurring,” including, “Our artistic staff has cooked up an unbelievable present with such a stellar forged and I can’t wait to share extra particulars as we proceed manufacturing… all I can say for now’s welcome to Neagley’s world. it’s time for coco pops!!”
Notably, Reacher is an adaptation of the Jack Reacher e-book sequence by Lee Youngster. Frances Neagley is a crucial character even in these novels. Prime Video formally green-lit the present in October 2024. Reflecting on her character, Sten instructed Collider in February 2025 how “thrilled” she was to get going. Reacher showrunner Nick Santora created Neagley with Nicholas Wootton. In February 2025, it was reported that the sequence had added five actors to its forged. They had been Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman.
Reacher Season 1 premiered in February 2022, just a little over six months after manufacturing wrapped in July 2021. Though filming for Season 2 concluded in February 2023, its launch date was reportedly impacted by the Hollywood strikes. The sophomore season ultimately premiered in December 2023.
Filming for Neaglery is reportedly going down in Toronto, Ontario, and can final till June 2025. It’s unclear whether or not the producers intend to shoot in different places, extending the manufacturing date. However even when that isn’t the case, the present will probably spend an extra few months in post-production. This makes early 2026 a possible launch date window for Neagley Season 1.
