The Beatles are getting a brand new documentary. Beatles ’64, produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi, premieres November 29 on Disney+. The movie options never-before-seen footage by documentarians Albert and David Maysles and can deal with the band’s first journey to the USA in February 1964, after they appeared on The Ed Sullivan Present and carried out on the Washington Coliseum.
Beatles ’64, which is co-produced by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, can be being launched alongside The Beatles: 1964 U.S. Albums in Mono, a field set of seven Beatles album reissues analog reduce from their authentic mono grasp tapes, together with Meet the Beatles!; The Beatles’ Second Album; A Laborious Day’s Evening (Unique Movement Image Soundtrack); One thing New; The Beatles’ Story (2xLP); Beatles ’65; and The Early Beatles.
The brand new movie follows The Beatles: Get Back, Peter Jackson’s 2021 documentary collection on the making of Let It Be. Earlier this 12 months, it was announced that every member of the Beatles would be the topic of his personal biopic in a brand new tetralogy directed by Sam Mendes and set for launch in 2027.
