Singer Jonas Bjerre, drummer Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen, bassist Johan Wohlert, and guitarist Bo Madsen shaped Mew in 1995. They launched their first studio album, A Triumph for Man, in 1997, and, finally, have been beneath the Sony Music umbrella for albums together with Frengers and the standout And the Glass Handed Kites. Madsen left Mew after 2015’s + –, and Mew went on to launch only one extra studio album, 2017’s Visuals.

Dearest Frengers

Subsequent yr marks the thirtieth anniversary of Mew! It’s been fairly a journey, that’s introduced me and my pretty band mates on numerous adventures, for which I’m eternally grateful.
