The songs have since been eliminated, however due to the dearth of checks and balances between distributors and streaming providers, it occurred once more!
Bands like Void Of Vision, Earth Crisis, Downswing, Windwaker, and extra have been hit with AI-generated music on their profiles. In response to The PRP, the “music” was attributed to an individual named papi ilham affiliated with Planet Musik Indonesia.
“An AI generated music was launched on our Spotify and presumably different streaming providers at this time,” wrote Downswing. “This launch was uploaded with out our consent and we’re engaged on having it eliminated ASAP.”
So why does this matter? As a result of fraudsters like papi ilham and Planet Musik Indonesia are making a living off larger names. The faux AI music will get uploaded to a ton of profiles, it will get nevertheless many streams it will get earlier than it is eliminated by the request of the artist (or their administration), they make a couple of bucks, rinse and repeat.
