The grand ceremony for the seventieth Nationwide Movie Awards 2024 was held at this time at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Prime honours went to Rishab Shetty who received the Finest Actor award for his acclaimed work in Kantara. Nitya Menen received the Finest Actress award for her function in Tiruchitambalam, an honour she shares with Manasi Parekh who bagged the win in the identical class for her function in Kutch Categorical.
In the meantime, director Sooraj Barjatya received the Finest Director award for his movie Uunchai. Veteran star Mithun Chakraborty obtained the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his excellent contribution to Indian cinema.
