Nicolás Jaar has digitally launched two new albums: Hearken to Piedras 1 and Piedras 2 beneath. Vinyl editions, from Jaar’s Other People label, will observe on January 31.
Jaar, in response to a press launch, first wrote “Piedras” for a live performance at Chile’s Museum of Memory and Human Rights to commemorate the victims of Augusto Pinochet’s multi-decade navy dictatorship.
