The primary official trailer for Pavements, Alex Ross Perry’s Pavement film, is out immediately, together with particulars of its cinema launch. Premieres in New York and Los Angeles, on Might 2 and Might 9, respectively, will precede the movie’s nationwide launch on June 6. The trailer presents the movie’s documentary, biopic, and mockumentary strands in a relentlessly meta collage, mixing archival footage with talking-heads interviews, backstage footage, and clips from the movie-within-a-movie Pavement biopic starring Joe Keery, Jason Schwartzman, Fred Hechinger, Tim Heidecker, Logan Miller, Griffin Newman, and Nat Wolff.
The total trailer follows a teaser launched earlier this month that introduced that movie-within-a-movie, Vary Life: A Pavement Story, because the function itself, with Keery within the starring position.
