Peruvian Surfer Lucca Mesinas Had Simply One Criticism About Floating Olympic Village

Whereas athletes inside the Olympic Village are (allegedly) sifting by their meals for worms, Peruvian surfer Lucca Mesinas says all of the items was clear crusing over in Tahiti … telling TMZ Sports activities actions he solely had one grievance with their setup!!

We caught up with the Peruvian surfer at LAX this week … not prolonged after he competed inside the shopping portion of the 2024 Video video games. Naturally, we would have liked to ask all regarding the surfers’ HQ on a luxurious cruise ship inside the South Pacific … and it sounds MUCH greater than what the parents in Paris have been saying.

“We had good meals, we had ping-pong, points to do over there,” Mesinas said. “Now we have been allowed to depart the boat anytime to go to surf. It was pretty pleasurable anyway.”

Many opponents have complained regarding the conditions in France … groaning over lack of air-con, small rooms and lack of bogs — with one gold medalist even electing to sleep exterior.

Mesinas said his solely gripe was that considering they’ve been on a ship, there was a little bit little bit of movement taking place due to the wind — so not the simplest for catchin’ Zs.

The surfer did have an excellent consider of the beds on the boat … saying they’ve been moreover sturdy. Whereas he didn’t say exactly whether or not or not they’ve been like the “anti-sex” mattresss in Paris — he did declare there weren’t any precise romantic hookups on board.

“Presumably one,” he said, laughing.

The ping-pong tournaments — along with watching the Olympics, in actual fact — seemed like an enormous part of the experience … and Mesinas didn’t hesitate to call the Peruvian workers the simplest on the boat.

“I’m pretty constructive now we have been [the best], the Peruvians,” he said. “As surfers, every time we journey, we play ping-pong frequently. I’m not great at it, [but] all the workers is pretty good at it.”
