EXCLUSIVE: U.S. gross sales outfit The Syndicate and financier Rabbits Black have set a strategic partnership heading into the European Movie Market in Berlin.
The Syndicate will oversee gross sales rights transferring ahead on a slate of Rabbits Black-backed movies, together with upcoming thriller Midnight, starring Rosario Dawson, Milla Jovovich, and Alexandra Shipp, and the Clark Duke-directed Stranglehold, starring Ashley Benson, Jake Lacey and Ron Perlman.
Midnight, a few blind lady hunted by worldwide criminals, and Stranglehold, about an unique dancer and Military vet who rob a strip membership, are each in post-production. Each had been beforehand on sale with The Nice Escape.
Michael Lurie and Jeffrey Giles, co-managers of The Syndicate, will oversee gross sales operations, whereas Nice Escape’s Nick Donnermeyer will act as an advisor and oversee supply and transition of the titles from Nice Escape to The Syndicate.
We perceive there are discussions between The Nice Escape and The Syndicate over a long term partnership which might see the latter transfer out of frontline gross sales.
Along with these titles at EFM, The Syndicate will even offer Flip Up The Solar starring James McAvoy, Unhealthy Man, starring Sean William Scott and Rob Riggle, and Venice Movie Pageant documentary From Darkness to Mild.
