Filming for Scream 7 is formally underway. On Instagram, director Kevin Williamson posted a photograph of the clapperboard from the set with the Scream 7 emblem. Regardless of being warned to not put up concerning the film, Williamson hopes the folks at Paramount and Spyglass will forgive him after having “the most effective days of his life.”
“What a unprecedented day I had working with an incredible and proficient forged and crew,” Williamson wrote. “They introduced their ‘A’ sport and had my again each step of the best way. I’m so very grateful for this chance and to Wes Craven, who was on my thoughts by way of all of it.”

Who’s concerned in Scream 7?
After skipping Scream VI because of a contract dispute, Neve Campbell headlines Scream 7 as Sidney Prescott. Campbell just isn’t the one actor to reprise a job from earlier Scream entries. Courteney Cox is again as Gale Weathers, whereas Mason Gooding returns to play Chad Meeks-Martin.

Scream 7 opens in theaters on February 27, 2026.
