Shakira’s Gazelle will return in Zootopia 2.
Zootopia 2 will likely be launched in United States theaters in November 2025. A sequel to 2016’s Zootopia, the animated film will as soon as once more see Ginnifer Goodwin voice Judy Hopps and Jason Bateman voice Nick Wilde.
Introduced at D23 Brazil, Shakira will even return as Gazelle in Zooptia 2.
The official Disney Animation X account shared a video celebrating the announcement, which could be seen beneath. “Gazelle is returning to Zootopia 2,” Shakira says within the video. “That’s proper, Gazelle is again and he or she’s received a brand new look, a brand new tune, and, in fact, new dance strikes. Along with voicing the Gazelle character, Shakira contributed an unique tune — titled “Attempt All the pieces,” which was written by Sia and Stargate — to the 2016 Zootopia film.
What else will we find out about Zootopia 2?
“The sequel to the worldwide phenomenon sees detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on the twisting path of a mysterious reptile who turns the mammal metropolis the other way up,” the synopsis for the film reads.
Along with Goodwin and Wilde, the voice solid of Zootopia 2 consists of Ke Huy Quan as Gary, a snake who’s being pursued by Nick and Judy; and Fortune Feimster as a beaver named Nibbles.
Zootopia 2 releases in United States theaters on November 26, 2025.
