GKIDS has lastly unveiled The Colors Within trailer for the upcoming U.S. launch of the coming-of-age music anime film about three college students who discover friendship after forming a band collectively.
“Totsuko is a highschool scholar with the power to see the ‘colours’ of others. Colours of bliss, pleasure, and serenity, plus a colour she treasures as her favourite. Kimi, a classmate at her college, provides off probably the most lovely colour of all,” reads the official synopsis. “Though she doesn’t play an instrument, Totsuko kinds a band with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music fanatic they meet at a used bookstore in a far nook of city. As they follow at an previous church on a distant island, music brings them collectively, forming friendships and stirring affections. Will they uncover their true ‘colours’?”

When is The Colours Inside launch date?
The Colors Within (Kimi no iro) is scheduled to reach in U.S. theaters beginning on December 13 in Los Angeles, adopted by its nationwide launch on January 13, 2025. This comes after the anime movie had its world premiere on the current Annecy Worldwide Movie Competition.
The movie is directed by Naoko Yamada (A Silent Voice) from a screenplay written by Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden), with kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man) composing the rating. The artistic group contains animation director and character designer Takashi Kojima. It’s a manufacturing by Science SARU (Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) and Story inc. (Your Title, Weathering With You, Suzume). It’s produced by Genki Kawamura (Your Title).
