Throughout D23, Disney launched the official Mufasa: The Lion King trailer for the prequel to its live-action remake of the long-lasting animated film. Moonlight director Barry Jenkins is directing the movie from a script by Jeff Nathanson. Walt Disney Studios Movement Footage will launch the movie completely in theaters on December 20, 2024.
