Veteran filmmaker Todd Haynes will head the competitors jury on the 2025 Berlin Film Festival.
The announcement was made this morning by the competition. In a press release, Berlinale director Tricia Tuttle described Haynes as a “dazzlingly gifted author and director.”
His physique of labor is directly stylistically versatile but additionally unmistakably his,” Tuttle stated. “Ever since his debut characteristic Poison gained the Teddy Award in 1991, the Berlinale has adopted and liked his filmmaking, and we’re overjoyed to have him be a part of the competition because the President of the Worldwide Jury for our seventy fifth version.”
